TL;DR: The Executive Summary

For the CIO & CISO: Global SaaS tools often force a compromise: Trade intelligence for compliance. They store your data in shared US/EU clusters, violating strict data residency laws (like RBI norms).

Numr CXM eliminates this trade-off.

  • Multi-Geo Architecture: We operate 4 distinct global data centers (India, USA, Europe, Singapore).
  • Strict Isolation: Indian data stays in India (including backups). US/Canada data stays in North America.
  • The "On-Prem" Option: For extreme security, our "On-Prem Agent" ensures PII never leaves your firewall - only tokenized signals do.
  • The Result: You get world-class CX analytics without triggering a single compliance violation.

Introduction: The "Global SaaS" Trap

As a technology leader in the BFSI (Banking, Financial Services, and Insurance) sector, you face a unique hurdle. You want to use best-in-class CX platforms - like Qualtrics or Medallia - to predict churn and drive revenue.

But the moment you read their architecture docs, you hit a wall: Data Residency.

Most "Global" SaaS giants are actually "US-Centric." They ingest your customer data and pipe it to massive server farms in North America or Western Europe.

  • For a Retailer? This is fine.
  • For a Bank in India or Singapore? This is a compliance violation waiting to happen.

The reality facing modern BFSI leaders is that cloud adoption must evolve alongside data residency compliance. Financial institutions can no longer deploy global SaaS platforms that centralize sensitive customer information in foreign regions. Numr CXM's multi-geo data residency architecture directly addresses this sovereignty crisis by enabling banks to adopt advanced CX analytics while maintaining local data governance, regulatory compliance, and jurisdictional control over financial data.

Regulators like the RBI (Reserve Bank of India) and MAS (Monetary Authority of Singapore) are clear: Financial data belonging to our citizens must remain within our borders.

At Numr CXM, we didn't build a platform for retailers and try to squeeze banks into it. We built for BFSI first. That means we don't just respect your data borders; we physically locate our infrastructure inside them.

1. The NUMR Architecture: 4 Sovereign Zones

We have decoupled our processing logic from our storage logic. This allows us to deploy "Local Instances" of our entire stack.

We currently operate 4 Dedicated Data Centers globally to ensure that your data sits physically where your regulators say it must.

Numr CXM's distributed multi-geo infrastructure separates analytics intelligence from geographic data storage. For BFSI enterprises managing cross-border operations, this architecture delivers localized data residency, scalable CX analytics, and strict adherence to regional compliance frameworks without sacrificing innovation velocity.

2. Deep Dive: The "India-First" Promise

For our Indian financial customers, the concern is often specific: "Does my data loop through a foreign server for processing?"

The Answer is No.

  • Storage: All primary databases are located on Indian soil.
  • Backups: All redundancy and disaster recovery (DR) sites are also located within India.
  • Processing: The compute engines that run our AI models are deployed locally.
  • Traffic: Data travels from your Indian data center to ours via secure local routes, never crossing international borders.

This architecture ensures you are audit-ready from Day 1.

3. The "Hybrid" Option for Paranoid Security

Sometimes, even a local cloud isn't enough. For banks with "Zero Trust" policies, we offer an On-Premise Agent.

Most SaaS tools are "All or Nothing" - you either send them your data or you can't use the tool. NUMR provides a middle path:

  • The Agent: We install a lightweight container inside your firewall.
  • The Process: This agent tokenizes PII (Personally Identifiable Information) before it touches the internet.
  • The Transfer: Only anonymous, encrypted tokens are sent to the NUMR Cloud for processing.
  • The Re-Assembly: When insights come back, the agent re-attaches the PII locally.

Result: NUMR processes your data without ever technically "seeing" your customers' identities.

4. Supporting the Americas (NA + SA)

For our clients in the Western Hemisphere, our US Data Center acts as the fortress.

  • Current Scope: It serves as the primary residency zone for clients in the USA and Canada.
  • Expansion: We are actively expanding support for South American (LATAM) data sovereignty, but currently, these workloads are secured within our hardened North American infrastructure, compliant with cross-border transfer agreements.

Stop choosing between Innovation and Compliance. Deploy a CX platform that understands the geography of your risk.

Frequently Asked Questions (FAQ)

Q: If we use the India data center, does the NUMR support team in other countries access it?

A: Access is governed by strict RBAC (Role-Based Access Control). Support teams only access data if explicitly authorized by you for a support ticket, and even then, PII is masked by default.

Q: We are a Canadian bank. Does our data stay in Canada?

A: Currently, North American data (US + Canada) is hosted in our US infrastructure, which complies with major North American data handling standards. If you require strict Canadian residency, we can deploy a private instance.

Q: Can we migrate our data from one region to another if we move HQs?

A: Yes. Since our stack is identical across regions, we can execute a "Lift and Shift" migration of your historical data to a new jurisdiction upon request.

Q: Does NUMR use third-party sub-processors?

A: We minimize sub-processors. All core data storage and processing happens on infrastructure directly managed by NUMR. Any third-party usage is disclosed in our SOC 2 report and is subject to the same residency constraints.

Conclusion

In the modern regulatory landscape, "Cloud" cannot mean "Everywhere." It must mean "Somewhere Specific."

For BFSI leaders, the physical location of bytes on a disk matters as much as the encryption protecting them. Numr CXM gives you the best of both worlds: the power of a global AI platform with the safety of a local vault. Don't let data residency laws stall your CX transformation - build on infrastructure designed to handle them.
